MangoClean
Understand what takes up space. Then choose what to clean up.

Caches, build files, and old installers accumulate on a Mac. MangoClean makes these findings visible with their size, path, category, and risk classification. You decide what to remove.

What MangoClean examines
Workstation caches
User caches and fixed developer cache paths, including npm, pnpm, Xcode, and Codex. Supported creative apps include Adobe, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
Project folders you choose
For example, node_modules, Python caches and virtual environments, Composer vendor, and Turborepo, Parcel, and Next.js caches. You can add project folders across multiple drives; entire drives are never scanned automatically.
Docker and other disk findings
MangoClean reports Docker storage and can clean build cache and unused images after confirmation while Docker Desktop is running. Containers and volumes are excluded. Older logs, supported installers, and the user Trash can also be reviewed.
You control the selection
- Analyze: scan a supported location or a project folder you added yourself.
- Review: inspect size, path, and risk classification. Nothing is selected automatically.
- Confirm: select findings deliberately and confirm cleanup separately. Moving to the Trash is the default option where the finding supports it.
Limitations are part of the picture
Removing a cache may require a rebuild or another download. A finding is not a blanket recommendation to delete it.
Permanent deletion, emptying the Trash, and Docker cleanup cannot be undone. Moving files to the Trash frees space only after it is emptied. Review your selection and keep current backups.
When Docker is stopped, MangoClean only reports the allocated size of the default Docker disk image. This is not an estimate of reclaimable space.
Some recognized creative media and content libraries only receive guidance for cleanup in their owning app or relocation. These findings cannot be selected for deletion.
Scans can be canceled, and cleanup can be canceled between operations. This does not reverse a deletion already in progress. Do not change selected paths concurrently with cleanup.
Analysis stays on your Mac
The app works without an account, telemetry, cloud service, or AI integration. It reads local file information and stores settings locally. Docker access uses only the current user's local Docker Desktop socket. Network folders you add are accessed through the macOS filesystem.
